Thrown from wild clay from Lizella, GA, these planters are breathable whether glazed or left terracotta. The high iron content of the clay brings out blues and greens in glazes we typically use for our stoneware, and the results are impressive.

As a wise person once told me - "Flower pots have holes in them." Planters without affixed overflow catches are intended to be placed directly on the ground. Pots with no hole are outdoor vases or intended for decorative use indoors.

  • The same wise person that instructed me on the efficacy of holes in flower pots also said "Dont put these on a grand piano - They leak." Its the way the clay works. They breath. Follow the sage advice.
